Courtney's sentence upheld

The Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals has affirmed the 30-year prison sentence of former pharmacist Robert Courtney.

On remand from the Supreme Court for further consideration in light of Booker, Courtney's only issue is the reasonableness of his sentence and the court concludes that a reasonableness inquiry would be an empty exercise since Booker did not change anything about this case factually or legally; prior opinion reinstated and sentence affirmed.
