Thursday's Schedule

Kansas City:
  • Xavier Lightfoot (KCMO), indicted for murdering a federal witness and conspiring to rob a credit union in Nebraska, jury selection for trial continues. Opening arguments expected Monday morning in Courtroom 7C. The government intends to seek the death penalty.
  • Johnny D. Guess (KCMO), who pled guilty to conspiring to distribute crack cocaine, will be sentenced at 10 a.m. in Courtroom 7B
  • Jonathan P. Henik (KCMO), who pled guilty to illegally possessing a firearm, will be sentenced at 11 a.m. in Courtroom 8A
  • Abulfrido Tavira-Espinoza, indicted for illegally possessing a firearm, change of plea at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 8A
