Wednesday's Schedule

Kansas City:
  • Trial continues for Xavier Lightfoot (KCMO), indicted for murdering a federal witness and conspiring to rob a credit union in Nebraska, at 7:30 a.m. in Courtroom 7C. The government intends to seek the death penalty
  • Nehemiah Robinson, who pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm, will be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom 8B
  • Carrie Lynn Payne, change of plea at 10 a.m. in Courtroom 8E
  • Stanley F. Moody, indicted for firearms violation, change of plea at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom 8B
  • Oliver Kimbrel (KCK), who pled guilty to his role in a conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, will be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 8B
  • Donnie Guarino, who pled guilty to his role in a conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute meth, will be sentenced at 2 p.m. in Courtroom 8B

Springfield:

  • Three co-defendants in Operation Ice Palace, an investigation into the illegal sale of large quantities of over-the-counter cold medicatinos tometh manufacturers in southwest Missouri, will be sentenced today. Joanne E. Lee (Powersite, MO), an employee of The Castle who pleaded guilty to participating in the conspiracy, will be sentenced at 9 a.m. Melissa Deputy (Branson, MO), daughter of the owner and an employee of The Castle who pleaded guilty to participating in the conspiracy, will be sentenced at 2 p.m. Tara A. Lindsey (Springfield, MO), an employee of Springfield Discount Liquors who pleaded guilty to participating in the conspiracy, will be sentenced at 4 p.m.
  • Woodrow Vollie Odneal, indicted for firearms violation, change of plea at 10 a.m.
  • Rebecca S. Shriver, change of plea at 3 p.m.
