Thursday's Schedule

Kansas City:

  • Edwin R. Hinestroza (Houston, TX), indicted for murder related to a conspiracy to distribute five kilograms or more of crack cocaine, trial continues at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 8A
  • David Wayne Cameron (Bethany, MO), who pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm, will be sentenced at 2 p.m. in Courtroom 7B

Springfield:

The following sentencing hearings will begin at 11 a.m. in the bankruptcy courtroom.

  • Thom W. Rhodes, pled guilty to illegally possessing firearms
  • Ricky G. Winningham (Lamar, MO), pled guilty to being a felon in possession of firearms
  • Brian C. Valentine (Seneca, MO) and Melanie Fortner (Joplin, MO), co-defendants who pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute meth as a result of Operation Ice Storm
  • Kenneth W. Roberts (Kissee Mills, MO), pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm
  • John David Roper (Lebanon, MO), a used car dealer who pled guilty to a $161,000 fraud scheme
  • Dennis E. Daugherty, pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm
  • Johnny E. St. Cin, pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm
  • Ponciano Cortes (Mexico), who pled guilty to transporting illegal aliens within the U.S.

  • Alan Duane Baker, the former Strafford, MO, mayor who pled guilty to wire fraud
  • Bradley E. Lambert (Licking, MO), pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm
  • Eugene G. Sullivan (Bolivar, MO), pled guilty to being a felon in possession of firearms
  • Chantry Hale, pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm
  • Stephen M. Taylor (Springfield, MO), pled guilty to producing and possessing child porn

The following sentencing hearings will be held in the Magistrate Courtroom.

  • Jared Petree (Cassville, MO), a former prison employee who pled guilty to providing tobacco to prison inmates, will be sentenced at 10 a.m.
  • Callie Ann Presley (Willard, MO), a former prison employee who pled guilty to possession of marijuana, will be sentenced at 10:30 a.m.
  • Seth Michael Cooper (Marshfiled, MO), a former prison employee who pled guilty to providing tobacco to prison inmates, will be sentenced at 11 a.m.

Grand jury is in session, with returns expected this afternoon.
