Change of Plea for Brian Gnavi

A change of plea hearing for Brian Gnavi, the Blue Springs man who was indicted for attempting to receive child porn in an undercover sting operation by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service following complaints that he was following children from area schools, has been scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, in Courtroom 7E.

  • Donald E. Hicks (Gladstone, MO), who pled guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States by filing 372 false tax returns resulting in a loss of nearly $1.3 million, will be sentenced at 11:45 a.m. in Courtroom 7C

Head Shop Owner Sentenced

David Deputy, the owner of a Forsyth, Mo., head shop who was convicted for his role in a conspiracy to distribute ingredients used to manufacture meth (Operation Ice Palace), will be sentenced at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, in Courtroom 1.
