Blame the computers

We will be unable to send or receive e-mail on Thursday and Friday while our computer system is migrating to a new server -- which means we will not be able to distribute news releases. We will post some news releases on the district's Web site today, but will be unable to do so on Friday.

• Darcey A. Harper (Grandview, MO), who pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm, will be sentenced at 10 a.m. inCourtroom 7B
  
• Frank Robinson will be re-sentenced following an appeal at 11 a.m. in Courtroom 7A

• Five co-defendants who have pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine in Jasper County, MO, will be sentenced today: Victoria Gonzalez (Carthage, MO) will be the first co-defendant sentenced at 1 p.m., followed by Brian L. McDaniel (Tulsa, OK), Ernesto V. Bell, Larry D. Saddler (Carterville, MO) and Justin L. Triplett (Joplin, MO), the final co-defendant to be sentenced at 3 p.m.
  
• David Wayne Robbins (address unknown), who pled guilty to firearm violations, will be sentenced at 11 a.m. inCourtroom 2
  
• Jeremy Bass (Jericho Springs, MO), who pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm, will be sentenced at 11:30 a.m. in Courtroom 2
  
• Luis Alfonso Salinas-Rodriguez (Mexico), who pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute meth, will be sentenced at 1:45 p.m. in courtroom 2
  
• Ulysses G. Chavez (Springfield, MO), who pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute marijuana, will be sentenced at 3:30 p.m. in Courtroom 2
