Court rules against former judge

A U.S. District Judge ruled today against Roger E. Wall, the former Douglas County judge who was indicted for child porn. In two separate rulings, Judge Richard E. Dorr denied the defendant's motion to suppress physical evidence and for the return of evidence seized, and denied the defendant's motion to dismiss the case.

Both orders can be downloaded here and here.

Today's orders accept the report and recommendations of U.S. Chief Magistrate Judge James C. England, which can be downloaded here. Our response to the defense motions can be downloaded here.

Here is the news release announcing Wall's indictment.
