• Luis Mora-Lemus (KC, KS), who pled guilty to illegally re-entering the United States, will be sentenced at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom 7C
• Martin Ortega-Franco, change of plea at 11:30 a.m. in Courtroom 8A

• Donald R. Hannah (KCMO), indicted for filing a false tax return by failing to claim more than $1.5 million in taxable income, trial continues at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 7B
• Anmed Abdi Nur (KCMO), a native of Somalia who pled guilty to operating an illegal money transmitting business that wired nearly $4 million to the United Arab Emirates and elsewhere, will be sentenced at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom 8C
• Kimberly D. Vickers (Independence, MO), who pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute meth as a result of Operation Icy Hot, will be sentenced at 10:30 a.m. in Courtroom 7C
• Hernandez D. Green (KCMO), who pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, will be sentenced at 11 a.m. in Courtroom 7C

Detention Motion for Coach

The government filed a motion today to detain Jeffrey Vernace in federal custody without bond until his trial (not yet scheduled). Vernace, the former youth swim coach who was indicted for attempting to entice a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity, will remain in federal custody until the court schedules a detention hearing and rules on the government's motion.

• Tommy D. Myers (Joplin, MO), who pled guilty to receiving $20,368 in Social Security disability benefits to which he was not entitled, will be sentenced at 11 a.m. in Magistrate Courtroom

Coach in court

Jeffrey Vernace, the former youth swim coach indicted for attempting to entice a minor to engage in illegal sexual activity, will have his initial court appearance at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday. Vernace remains in federal custody.
